Don't mean to seem unpatriotic
But my favourite part of the opening ceremony so far has got to be the Arctic Monkeys. That was awesome.

“His pointer finger circled my puckered love cave. “Are you ready for this?” he...”
– 50 Shades of Grey (via kaley)(via boomboxes-dictionaries) I’m not even going to talk about the puckered love cave. I want to talk about this: “Mewl” means to cry weakly or whimper, like a baby. That means he cried weakly like a baby, while smirking like a carnivorous female hamster. That’s not...

Can't blame her
Madison: I tell you what those people are doing. They're probably having a birthday party so they are eating cake right now.
Me: Are you always just thinking about cake?
Madi: ...Yes.

Oh and while I'm at it
…it bugs the hell out of me when I go to friends’ houses and they have their children’s paintings on the wall or fridge, and all I can do is stare at it and think ‘your child did not create this, their teacher did it for them and they’re having you believe that your child has the fine motor skills to manipulate the (usually inappropriately sized)...

I just can't stand
How people don’t understand that “I can’t afford it” means “I actually do not have sufficient funds to take part in a transaction as large as the one you are suggesting I make.” It’s hard enough for me to say that, let alone have to continue to repeat it and explain it further. In other news, my week started out so awesome, then kinda went to complete...

My American friends,
Can you please suggest some good sites to buy some (affordable) pretty summer dresses online?

Lucas' op went well
He screamed when he knew something weird was happening. I had to hold him down while they administered the anesthetic. It was horrible listening to his yells turn into groggy whimpers as he dropped off to sleep. Then I had to lay his unconscious body on the table and leave. It was awful. When he came out of it, it was like nothing had happened to him. He was so happy and playful and well behaved....

Lucas
Has his grommets put in today. I’m nervous. I know he’ll be fine, but I’m nervous.

Madison moments today:
“Mummy, I ran with my eyes shut and didn’t bump into anything!” and “Mummy! I just laughed with water in my mouth and didn’t spit any of it!” and “For my birthday party, I want a nice clean and tidy room so we can all play in it.” She is constant entertainment lately. Love her so.
