On the way to my parents' house for lunch
I didn’t get to see my daddy for his birthday in between Lucas being sick and requiring hospital visits because he was dehydrated, so we’re doing that today. I’m looking forward to yummy food.

Completed my health exam yesterday, a now I’m free for a few months! The feeling of freedom was quickly shattered when I got home to Lucas with a gastro bug, who is refusing food and drink, and I now have to watch carefully for signs of dehydration. It doesn’t seem to bother him, though. He’s all smiles!

Maths exam: done. One more to go and that’s it until next year. Madison discovered the Elmo potty training DVD my mum bought her when she was actually toilet training two whole years ago. She loves it now because they continuously say such hilarious words as ‘pee pee’ and ‘poo poo’. So, that’s my day.

I try so hard to be as positive as I can be.
Every day. I try to see the positive in every situation. Nothing is ever the end of the world. But lately I just feel SO lonely. It’s a horrible feeling and I just can’t shake it. Someone fix me.

This weekend was great. My baby boy turned one. I made an awesome birthday cake for him. The kids ran around under the sprinkler all day yesterday. The summer weather is here. It always makes me feel good.

So I had my ‘double check’ yesterday, and they took a biopsy. The doctor straight out told me it was nothing to worry about but it has to be tested anyway. I feel better but I don’t think I’ll feel 100% better until I have the results. The ‘weight’ hasn’t lifted off my shoulders yet.
